Born and raised in Zagreb, Croatia, Fani, graduated top in her class at the School of Applied Arts & Design and knew from an early age what she wanted to do for a living. Arriving in NYC at 17 she won a full tuition scholarship to the Cooper Union where she obtained her Bachelor of Architecture.

She has worked for the esteemed design firms of Jeffrey Bilhuber, William McIntosh, & D’Aquino Monaco, Inc. Her three years as construction manager, and at times in-house designer, for Silverstein Interiors helped broaden her knowledge of the practice.
