sunnyside townhouse, NYc
This lovely 1,400 sq ft. brick home in a Landmark neighborhood needed serious upgrades. We not only brought this 1920s house up to modern living standards but up to contemporary aesthetic standards as well. With the use of custom wall panels, walnut cabinets & silk wall coverings we were able to give this modest house an air of sophistication. Although we provided a more open spacial plan we still expressed programmatic definition through the use of subtle detailing.
With a limited pallet of finishes a warm & comfortable modern interior is created within this beautiful old brick home. The fully renovated basement provides the perfect play room.
The project entailed:
Full renovation of kitchen, bathroom, and basement
Addition of a three fixture bathroom at basement
Full upgrades to heating, electrical & plumbing
All new interior finishes
New decorative lighting throughout
A coat closet and additional storage at dining room
Integrated washer dryer
