Pied-à-terre Upper west side
We were introduced to this client only after they had already started this major renovation and realized they didn’t like the design they were building. The renovation consisted of joining the adjacent apartment to the client’s existing home. They were hoping to gain a large master bedroom with plenty of new closet space. They found themselves with cramped, uninspired spaces, and very little - mostly inconvenient storage.
Metre Design was contacted and worked closely with the contractor to maintain a schedule already underway.
Our approach was to listen carefully to the owner’s desires and design solutions they hadn’t imagined.
The result is an apartment with exciting spaces and tons of storage.
